Job Summary
Job Summary: Our Program Coordinator will work with the NYREACH team to facilitate and
develop workforce development initiatives as needed, create schedules, oversee progress and
ensure goals are met on time. He/she is also responsible for coordinating and attending meetings,
developing project strategies, operating our WFD program, and providing all administrative
assistance as required.
Minor Responsibilities: include supporting leadership with grant applications as needed.

• Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment and information
• Break projects into doable actions and set timeframes
• Act as interdepartmental liaison to identify and define requirements, scope and objectives
for assigned projects.
• Assist with schedule management and outreach for WFD programs.
• Adapt to the dynamic needs of project/program management.
• Analyze risks and opportunities
• Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise
• Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants
• Use tools to monitor working hours, plans and expenditures
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports
• Ensure standards and requirements are met through quality assurance tests
• Network with other organizations as related to WFD opportunities
• Provide administrative assistance to your direct supervisor
• Assist with developing applications for grant opportunities
• Design, develop, and deliver trainings
Qualifications
Qualifications:
• Proven work experience as a Program Coordinator or similar role
• Experience in project management, from conception to delivery
• An ability to prepare and interpret workflows, schedules and step-by-step action plans
• Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management
• Strong client-facing and teamwork skills-incl. communication and leadership
• Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance control
• Strong working knowledge of common Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel,
Word, PowePoint and Visio as well as Canva.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively
collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized
• Bachelors Degree - Public Health, Health Services Administration or related field.
