Job DescriptionThis position is responsible to prepare food labs, monitor and maintain equipment and inventory, and to oversee work study students under faculty supervision.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: JOB SPECIFIC- Maintain and administer food labs and provide instructional support to the hospitality programs.
- Maintain accurate monitoring controls of inventory and equipment.
- Ensure security of the lab and equipment during assigned work hours.
- Assist with cleaning, maintenance and repair of instructional equipment where applicable in the food labs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: STANDARD TO THE ROLE- Oversee day-to-day tasks of assigned work study students.
- Accurately maintain records and submit reports as required.
- Maintain and develop work related knowledge, skills, and competencies related to the job through professional development and cross training opportunities.
NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS- Participate in departmental meetings, various committees and professional organizations as required.
- Perform additional grade level duties as assigned.
Required QualificationsEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE AND/OR TRAINING- Associate Degree in related field required.
- Prior work performance must have met or exceeded appropriate work standards in current and prior positions.
CLEARANCESThe successful candidate will be required to obtain/provide the following clearances prior to hire:
- PA Child History clearance
- PA Criminal Record Check clearance
- FBI Federal Criminal History Record clearance
Preferred Qualifications - Food service experience preferred.

Salary $17.93/hour
Schedule Days/Hours Monday - Hours will vary Monday - Friday daylight & evening hours to support the culinary classes , Tuesday - Hours will vary Monday - Friday daylight & evening hours to support the culinary classes , Wednesday - Hours will vary Monday - Friday daylight & evening hours to support the culinary classes , Thursday - Hours will vary Monday - Friday daylight & evening hours to support the culinary classes , Friday - Hours will vary Monday - Friday daylight & evening hours to support the culinary classes , Saturday - Occasionally (if needed), Sunday - Occasionally (if needed)
