Are you ready to take your leadership and organizational skills to the next level? Paslin is looking for a Program Manager to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to interact with the customer and contribute to cutting-edge projects in the automation industry. You will play a crucial role in managing to ensure that all aspect of a program including financial, quality, manpower and project execution from initiation to closure. This role requires strong leadership and organizational skills, as well as the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with the customer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent Paslin as the main point of customer interaction.
  • Lead, coach, and inspire your project team to crush their goals.
  • Create clear project plans that include goals, timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Coordinates critical information between customers, suppliers and internal resources
  • Complete project charter outlining scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, budget and timeline
  • Lead problem solving activities, addressing any on-site challenges, handles communication plans, risk management, and issue resolution like a pro.
  • Keep customers and the management team updated with regular project progress reports.
  • Set up and maintain systems (like AX) to make managing projects easier.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Experience: 5-7 years of program management in an automation environment
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, finance with an MBA preferred
  • Travel: Requires some out of town and overnight travel to customer site, 20-25%.
  • Key Competencies:
    • Excellent organizational skills with demonstrated ability to execute projects on time and on budget
    • Demonstrated leadership and teamwork
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership, presentation, problem solving, and analytical skills
  • Technical Skills:
    • Ability to read and understand basic financial statements including P&L, profit margin analysis and cost to complete analysis.
    • Familiarity with project management tools and systems (bonus if you’ve used AX!).
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Project

Work Environment: This position operates in both an office and a shop/plant environment, may be required to work at multiple facilities depending on workload.

Physical Demands: The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and be present on the plant floor or customer facility, some work in safety sensitive situations around moving machinery and powered industrial equipment.

Work type & Expected hours of work: Regularly works on-site at local Paslin locations. Work schedules are flexible around core business hours of 7am-5pm, Monday to Friday. This position is for regular, full-time work and may require coming in early, working late, or working on weekends to meet the needs of the business.
