Pro Care by Abound Health is seeking an experienced and results-driven IDD Intake & Onboarding Program Supervisor to lead our centralized intake and onboarding team in Southfield, MI. Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, you will shape the experience that individuals, families, referral partners, and caregivers have from their first interaction with Pro Care through the start of services. This is an opportunity to build smarter systems, develop a high-performing team, and help more individuals receive quality services without unnecessary delays.

Why Pro Care by Abound Health?

At Pro Care by Abound Health, this is more than an intake leadership role—it is an opportunity to directly influence our growth and the lives of the people we serve. You will have the autonomy to improve processes, remove barriers, and create an intake and onboarding experience that families and referral partners can trust. As part of a growing organization, your ideas will be heard, your results will be visible, and you will have the opportunity to expand your leadership while doing meaningful work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the full referral journey from initial inquiry through admission, caregiver onboarding, and handoff to operations.

  • Build, coach, and develop a high-performing team of intake and onboarding professionals.

  • Create a responsive, supportive experience for individuals, families, caregivers, and referral partners.

  • Partner with Recruiting, Training, Operations, Compliance, Payroll, Billing, and other teams to accelerate service starts.

  • Use performance data to monitor referral response times, onboarding progress, conversion rates, backlogs, and staffing readiness.

  • Identify barriers, improve workflows, and develop scalable processes that support continued growth.

  • Ensure documentation and onboarding activities meet Medicaid, payer, HIPAA, accreditation, and Pro Care requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human services, healthcare administration, business, social work, or a related field preferred.

  • Five years of experience in IDD, healthcare, human services, intake, onboarding, or program operations preferred.

  • Previous supervisory or management experience required.

  • Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience using data and performance metrics to manage workflows and improve results.

  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass all required background and registry checks.

Compensation & Benefits:

Base pay is determined by factors such as work location, experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. In addition to base pay, total compensation may include various other forms of pay. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive health, dental, and wellness benefits, which begin on your 60th day of employment. Additionally, our 401(k) plan becomes available after 12 months of employment. For more information about our total rewards package, please reach out to your Talent Acquisition Partner.
