Understand new Features required for your program. iii. Identify Software path for your program iv. SWAD/Software Change Management Process (Program Level) c. Hardware Options Understand core Hardware Matrix - Content/Features • Identify key features which drive hardware complexity. • Provide programs with options/cost d. Correlate Hardware Matrix Part's Matrix (Combined H/W & S/W). • Identify parts #'s to be released for program. Enter into FEDEBOM. 2. Core Tools a. JIRA - Create/Update JIRA's b. CAN Tools/ DET Tool/ Reflashing Sync Software Program Management 1. Role: Sync Applications Engineer. • D&R or Single Point of Contact to Program Teams and Electrical PMT. • Lead interface between Sync Core Feature/Software teams and Program teams. • Drive resolution of engineering issues with the Ford cross functional teams 2. Engineering Milestone - UPVx Deliverables a. Understand GPDS program timing/deliverables b. Understand UPVx deliverables for each milestone. i. DT's, FMEA, Part Setup, EMC, NetComm, PAAT... c. Champion/Lead completion of Sync deliverables at each UPVx Milestone. 3. Program Management Tools a. FEDE BOM (Part Setup/Costs) b. FEDE-DVP, (DV tool) c. FEDE FMA (Quality Process) 4. Confidential d. PDO - Program Direction Letter tool. e. CDP/CDR Signoffs 4. Cost Lead - Sync a. Module Costs b. License Costs c. CNE-DF (approval forum) Launch/Build - DCV Build 1. Sync Applications SPOC (Single Point of Contact) to Program Launch Team 2. Primary Interface back to Lead Sync Applications Engineer and Core Sync Product Engineer/Feature Leads 3. Onsite Build Support at NMPDC or Plant 4. FCPA/R202/AIMS Issue Resolution - Attend Launch report out for various audits. a. Fully Understand/Identify Sync issues. b. Take Sync Dev-logs and Vehicle level CAN logs. 5. Lead troubleshooting of Sync related issues identified at builds. 6. Support troubleshooting with Sync interfacing modules and EE Systems until owner determined 7. Lead Module Reflash Support a. Reflash modules on vehicle Yellow Boards. b. Reflash loose module stock to support builds. 8. VSCS - EOL module configuration & DTC -Diagnostic Trouble Code resolution. a. Learn Sync specific EOL configurations b. Support EOL meetings for Sync specific issues c. Coordinate with EE Systems, NetComm, VOME-EOL to gather data for Sync EOL issues. d. Interface with Core Sync/IVI teams to root cause issue. Provide feedback to EOL team. e. Provide updated Sync module part #'s (8033, F113) due EOL/Net Comm team with each new software release. 9. JIRA - Learn JIRA - software issue tracking tool. a. Primary interface back to Core Sync/IVI teams. b. Create JIRA tickets for all Sync related AIMS/EOL issues. i. Load all required data into JIRA. ii. CAN Logs, Sync Dev-logs, pictures/video to help define an issue.

Additional Job Details : This contractor needs to be local to Allen Park, MI, as this is a hybrid role (remote and onsite) and they will need to go to the client location frequently.
