This confidential General Manager search is for an experienced hospitality professional with polished service standards, strong operational judgment, and the ability to lead a team in an environment where attention to detail matters. You'll oversee a front-of-house team of approximately 15-20 employees while managing service execution, training, scheduling, labor, inventory, financial performance, and the daily systems required to maintain consistently high standards.
This role is well-suited for a General Manager, Assistant General Manager, or senior Restaurant Manager with significant fine-dining experience and an understanding that exceptional hospitality requires more than technical service. Responsibilities
  • Lead daily front-of-house restaurant operations
  • Maintain consistently high standards of service and hospitality
  • Manage and develop approximately 15-20 employees
  • Lead pre-shift meetings and ongoing service training
  • Coach employees on hospitality, service technique, product knowledge, and professional standards
  • Recruit, train, motivate, and retain front-of-house employees
  • Create and manage employee schedules
  • Manage labor and payroll within established targets
  • Monitor guest experience and resolve service issues appropriately
  • Maintain a visible leadership presence on the restaurant floor
  • Manage ordering, receiving, and inventory procedures

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of restaurant management experience preferred
  • Strong front-of-house fine-dining experience required
  • Previous front-of-house experience in a Michelin-starred, Michelin-aspiring, or similarly demanding fine-dining restaurant strongly preferred
  • General Manager, Assistant General Manager, or senior Restaurant Manager experience preferred
  • Exceptional understanding of hospitality and refined restaurant service
  • Strong training, coaching, and employee development skills
  • P&L management experience
  • Experience with scheduling, payroll, labor management, ordering, receiving, and inventory
  • Strong food safety knowledge
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Professional and composed management style
  • Ability to maintain standards during demanding service periods
  • Ability to work collaboratively with culinary leadership
  • Ability to reach, bend, stoop, remain standing for extended periods, and lift up to 50 pounds
