This role requires experience selling enterprise software solutions to financial institutions, payment processors, national payment switches, fintechs, or other payment service providers. Candidates should have a proven track record selling complex software solutions within the payments, banking, or financial technology industries. The Director will lead and develop a regional team of sales representatives and supporting functions, while directly driving strategic deals and priority pursuits.
A key focus of the role is ensuring consistent execution through Salesforce and related sales tools, disciplined pipeline management, and clear accountability for individual sales performance. The Director will establish structure, visibility, and ownership across the sales team to ensure targets are met and opportunities are advanced effectively.

  • Establish clear sales objectives, KPIs, and activity expectations while fostering a culture of accountability, execution, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive new business development by supporting strategic opportunities, participating in key client engagements, and helping sales representatives close complex deals.
  • Oversee Salesforce CRM and sales operations to ensure accurate pipeline management, forecasting, reporting, and data integrity.
  • Monitor sales metrics and pipeline health, providing actionable insights to improve conversion rates, sales productivity, and forecast accuracy.
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders while serving as an escalation point for strategic accounts.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Pre-Sales, Customer Success, Finance, and Operations to deliver exceptional customer outcomes and execute go-to-market initiatives.
  • Provide market intelligence and customer feedback to influence product strategy, competitive positioning, and future business opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with company sales processes, reporting standards, and operational best practices.

Requirements
  • 7+ years of enterprise software sales experience within the payments, banking, or financial technology industries
  • Demonstrated success selling enterprise software solutions to financial institutions, payment processors, national switches, fintechs, or payment service providers
  • Proven success acquiring new enterprise clients and managing complex, consultative sales cycles
  • Demonstrated experience driving sales accountability, pipeline discipline, and CRM (Salesforce) adoption
  • Experience leading geographically dispersed enterprise sales teams
  • Strong understanding of the payments ecosystem and enterprise software buying processes
  • Deep understanding of enterprise software sales cycles and complex deal structures
  • Advanced proficiency in Salesforce reporting, dashboards, and forecasting
