Job description

Part-time role supporting daily accounting operations, recordkeeping, and month-end close activities for an Omaha based Technology Organization. Ensures accurate and timely financial data across AP/AR and general ledger functions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Record and code financial transactions (AP, AR, deposits, journal entries)
  • Maintain organized accounting records and documentation
  • Process vendor invoices and schedule payments
  • Create customer invoices and monitor receivables
  • Follow up on past due accounts and resolve billing issues
  • Assist with reconciliations and month-end close
  • Support accounting projects and process improvements


Requirements

  • Basic accounting knowledge
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently


Preferred

  • 2+ years bookkeeping/accounting experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Business Central or ERP systems
