About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Assistant to support our organization's government
grant administration and accounts payable functions. This part-time, in-office role is ideal for
someone with a strong accounting or finance background who thrives on accuracy, organization,
and cross-departmental collaboration.
Responsibilities
  • Prepare government grant vouchers, including personnel and operating expenses
  • Assemble complete voucher packets for Senior Vice President review
  • Monitor government grant budgets and track expenses on a monthly basis
  • Review RAMP expenses to ensure proper coding and confirm applicability to government grants
  • Perform budget revisions as needed for government grant budgets
  • Partner with the HR department to ensure accurate payroll allocations for government grants
  • Enter and code vendor invoices
  • Set up new vendors in RAMP
  • Ensure vendor invoices are approved in a timely manner

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Experience with Accounts Payable
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks and Paylocity is a plus
