Job Description A-Line Staffing is now hiring Print Shop Clerk - 2nd Shift in Woonsocket, RI. If you are interested in this Print Shop Clerk - 2nd Shift position, please apply to this posting. OVERVIEW In this role, you will support onsite print/copy, imaging, and mailroom operations while providing customer service and ensuring jobs are completed accurately and on time. Print Shop Clerk - 2nd Shift Highlights
  • Location: Woonsocket, RI 02895
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM-10:30 PM (EST)
    • Training hours: 5:30 AM-2:00 PM, then transition to 2nd shift
  • Contract role covering a leave of absence (duration dependent on return date); possible extension and potential direct hire for the right fit
  • On-site role; may require occasional overtime, nights/weekends, or off-hour emergency response
Print Shop Clerk - 2nd Shift Responsibilities
  • Operate high-volume copy/duplicating equipment and perform associated copying tasks
  • Operate document imaging/scanning equipment and related software
  • Use MS Office and email to open, send, retrieve, save, and transfer files per established procedures
  • Monitor convenience copiers (daily inspections/quality checks), clear minor jams, and escalate issues to technicians
  • Perform binding/finishing work and general production tasks (e.g., shrink-wrap, cutting, stapling, hole drilling, etc.)
  • Handle shipping/receiving, sort/distribute mail and supplies, and apply postage as needed
  • Maintain basic logs/inventories (meter logs, service logs, supplies, billing logs as required)
  • Provide customer support regarding job status/feasibility and coordinate service calls
  • Additional support as needed: filing, housekeeping, conference room set-ups, light maintenance, and other assigned duties
Print Shop Clerk - 2nd Shift Requirements
  • Verifiable High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to work the required schedule (including training hours) - attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with printers/copiers/scanners and production equipment
  • Basic computer skills (email + file handling); familiarity with MS Office preferred

  • Prior experience in a print shop, mailroom, copy center, or document services environment
