FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Position Overview: The Saw Filer will be responsible for sharpening, repairing, and changing saws, ensuring their proper functioning, and collaborating with the team to enhance production efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Safely maintain saws and saw equipment.
- Perform machine alignment and provide preventative maintenance to saw filing machines.
- Sharpen, repair, and change saws, and knives.
- Service and maintain the saw filing rom and sawmill machinery.
- Ensure proper functioning of saws for efficient production.
- Collaborate with other team members to optimize saw performance.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Experience as a saw filer or related role.
- Knowledge of saw filing equipment and procedures.
