As a member of our Field Sales Team, you’ll play a pivotal role in maintaining our culture of customer service excellence while building strong relationships with contractors, vendors, and customers across a variety of industries. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being out in the field, solving problems, driving business growth, and delivering hands-on support directly at jobsites.

What You’ll Do:
  • Visit and call on commercial and industrial jobsites throughout Indiana
  • Build relationships with contractors and demonstrate the value Porter Pipe & Supply brings to projects
  • Serve as a product solutions champion by providing product demonstrations, contractor training, and jobsite support
  • Conduct jobsite training sessions, lunch & learns, and customer appreciation events
  • Partner with vendors and outside sales teams to identify opportunities for growth
  • Analyze regional market trends and identify new business opportunities
  • Address customer concerns and resolve service-related issues
  • Support sales associates with generating leads and closing new business
  • Maintain records of customer interactions, activities, and partnerships
  • Provide weekly itineraries, sales forecasts, and reports
  • Participate in networking and customer engagement opportunities regularly
  • Be available for occasional evening and weekend events
  • Travel throughout the region with up to one overnight stay per week
