We are currently looking for an experienced Recruiter to join our team in Bloomfield Hills, MI. This position is responsible for full life-cycle recruiting: screening and recommending placement of staff by using a variety of sourcing methods. The position will partner with hiring managers to determine staffing needs and serves as an expert for recruiting candidates within our Bloomfield Hills and Flint portfolios.

What are the responsibilities of the Recruiter?

  • Manage full life-cycle recruiting process to meet staffing goals throughout all levels of the organization.

  • Manage the applicant tracking system and onboarding gateway through the HR information system (UKG), and train managers on system processes.

  • Oversee and manage a high volume of open positions across several functions of the business, including hourly and salaried roles.

  • Partner with and coach hiring manager to determine staffing needs, and ensure requisitions are filled in a timely manner, while staying up to date and in compliance with all state, local, and federal laws.

  • Leverage all aspects of traditional and non-traditional sourcing and recruitment marketing, including career fairs, Social Media (LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Indeed, Facebook, employee referrals, etc.

  • Partner with marketing department for advertising such as flyers, graphics, and social media advertisements.

  • Develop relationships with candidate sourcing companies, colleges, career centers, etc.

  • Oversee the review of applications and resumes to determine suitable fit. Conducts or delegates phone screens, in-person or virtual interviews, interview scheduling, reference checks and backgrounds checks.

  • Demonstrate knowledge of the organization’s risk and opportunities within the competitive environment.

  • Identify opportunities to increase efficiencies with key stakeholders to better meet their needs and the needs of the organization.

  • Identify and implement best practices and solutions to improve customer service to both candidates and hiring managers.

  • Work with hiring managers to ensure compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations, including affirmative action plan compliance.

  • Prepare offer letters for prospective employees and provide oversight of the onboarding process for a seamless new employee experience.

  • Manage candidate files according to company policy.

What are the role requirements?

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field is required.
  • 3-5 years of Recruiting experience is required.
  • Previous experience in property management is preferred.
  • Previous experience using UKG Pro software or other applicant tracking system (ATS) is preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office programs is required.
  • The ability to travel by car or plane to various locations for career fairs or other related recruitment needs.
  • The ability to work cooperatively with others is essential.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Must have cognitive reasoning abilities.
  • Must possess exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Regular attendance, work ethic and strong interpersonal skills are required for success in this position.
  • Must be willing to travel to various locations via private or public transportation.
