Job Description

Akola internships are a great opportunity for you to apply your learnings and experience to make real change in the world. We look for interns who can take on real responsibility and have an impact on the company, the customers and women we all work for. It is a great opportunity for you to learn the ins and outs of non-profit work, the innovative business model of a social enterprise and a thriving fashion company.

The Development Intern will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the Development Manager with raising funds for Akola programs
  • Supporting the implementation of Akola's fundraising strategy via activities such as research, document creation and event preparation
  • Supporting the cultivation of potential and current donor relationships through updating relationship software, attending meetings and calls with Development Manager and assisting with report creation 
Qualifications

Fall internship class begins August 31 and ends December 11, 2015. Positions are unpaid, but qualify for class credit.
