Job Description Summary
Provide general Office/Administrative Support to faculty members.
Responsibilities
  • Enter, update, and verify student participation credits in SONA; reconcile discrepancies against source records.
  • Maintain organized electronic records, logs, and checklists to track completion of research experience requirements.
  • Run basic reports and compile and distribute simple progress summaries.
  • Monitor notifications for submissions and routine student inquiries; respond using approved guidance or escalate issues to the Subject Pool Coordinator.
  • Follow established procedures for data accuracy, privacy, and record retention; document completed tasks and flag exceptions.
  • Participate in regular check-ins with the Subject Pool Coordinator or designated faculty/staff member.

Required Qualifications
  • Current student in the School of Communication.
  • Approval of the faculty.
  • Basic clerical skills, including data entry, proofreading, and file organization.
  • Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to follow written procedures and meet deadlines.
