Job Description
Responsible for processing ocean and air export transactions.
Responsibilities
  • Receive, review and process export ocean and air bookings
  • Handle export air/ocean shipments from bookings to billing until completion
  • Submit timely documentation to airlines and steamship lines
  • Tracking air and ocean freight from booking to delivery at destination
  • Close follow up with clients and overseas agents
  • Close communication with manager and fellow team members
  • Advise manager of any export problems and irregularities
  • Perform any other related tasks as required or assigned by manager

Requirements
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of export air and ocean experience
  • Understanding of TSA regulations
  • IATA and/or IMDG certified a plus
  • Must be extremely detailed oriented and organized
  • Must be a team player and able to work independently
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong customer service communication skills
  • Must work well under pressure and able to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work in a busy and fast paced environment
