As the Export Compliance Specialist - Sr., you will provide senior-level export compliance support to a Department of Defense customer supporting the F-35 Joint Program Office mission. Bring your advanced compliance experience, sound judgment, and stakeholder coordination skills to help ensure international activities are properly reviewed, documented, coordinated, and executed in accordance with applicable requirements. In this role, you will support mission-critical export compliance activities by reviewing documentation, coordinating with government and contractor stakeholders, tracking actions, preparing reports and briefings, and supporting leadership with recommendations that improve compliance execution. This position requires the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing complex compliance actions and stakeholder requirements. In This Role, You Will: * Provide senior-level support for export compliance reviews, documentation, coordination, and process execution. * Review complex export compliance actions, supporting documentation, correspondence, and approval of packages for accuracy and completeness. * Coordinate with government and contractor stakeholders to resolve issues, track actions, and support timely completion of compliance requirements. * Support development and maintenance of export compliance trackers, process documentation, briefings, and recurring reports. * Advise team members on documentation expectations, workflow requirements, and compliance-related action tracking. * Support leadership with status updates, issue identification, and recommendations to improve export compliance execution. * Prepare reports, presentations, briefings, and compliance status updates for leadership review. To Be Successful in This Role You Will Have: * U.S. Citizenship. * Master's degree and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience; OR Bachelor's degree and an additional 14 years of relevant experience may be considered. * Minimum 10 years of relevant experience supporting export compliance, international programs, compliance management, security operations, or related Department of Defense support functions. * Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance; active Secret clearance preferred. * Ability to communicate effectively with senior government and contractor stakeholders and manage complex, time-sensitive actions. * Ability to work on site in Arlington, Virginia, Monday through Friday during normal business hours. * Ability to travel up to 10%, including CONUS and OCONUS travel, as required. Desired Skills * Prior experience working in a secure facility. * Prior experience supporting security countermeasure environments. * Experience supporting administrative processes and document management within secure environments. * Ability to work effectively with government and contractor personnel. * Experience preparing reports, briefings, status updates, and tracking spreadsheets. * Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent actions. * Current active Secret or Top Secret security clearance preferred. * Active Top Secret/SCI clearance utilized within the last two years preferred. * Active Top Secret clearance with SAP eligibility preferred.
