Job Summary

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be the main point of contact for customers and internal teams. This role involves heavy email and data entry, requires strong attention to detail, and supports the full order lifecycle-from quoting to delivery.

What You'll Do

  • Respond to customer inquiries by email and phone (high volume-up to 200 emails per day).
  • Prepare and process material quotes-about 60% of the role-using Excel and written summaries.
  • Review customer purchase orders and enter them accurately into Oracle 11i.
  • Maintain customer files in compliance with AS9100 requirements.
  • Use customer portals when needed to manage orders or approvals.
  • Review contracts and coordinate with Engineering, Quality, and Legal for order approval and terms & conditions.
  • Track and expedite customer orders and provide timely updates.
  • Communicate customer issues, complaints, and changes in requirements to internal teams.
  • Attend production/WIP meetings and complete followup actions.
  • Perform export screenings and communicate ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) and EAR (Export Administration Regulations) requirements as needed.
  • Support other CSRs and complete additional administrative tasks.

What You'll Need

  • Must type at least 40 words per minute.
  • Strong written communication for quotes, emails, and customer documentation.
  • 3–5 years of experience in a fastpaced customer service or sales support role preferred. Candidates who have had recent managerial retail roles are strongly encouraged to apply.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize highvolume work with accuracy and urgency.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Strong Excel skills (required for quoting and data tracking).
  • Proven ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Experience preparing quotes is a plus.
