Job description

Zirous is looking for an experienced, driven, and relentlessly curious Account Executive (AE) to help grow our Experience Services division, Vaezr Studio. This role is built for a hungry sales professional who knows how to open doors, create urgency, and turn complex ideas into business value for clients.
You will lead new business development and strategic account growth for immersive solutions, experiential marketing, and enhanced high-risk safety training content created for customers with the use of Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), Mixed Reality (MR), and Artificial Intelligence (AI). You will work with prospects and clients to identify opportunities where emerging technology and high-impact content can solve business challenges, elevate customer engagement, improve training and communications, and create meaningful competitive advantage.
This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, loves building relationships, and is energized by selling innovative services that are shaping the future of business communication, elevating marketing experiences, and enhancing training programs.
The position reports directly to the Director of Sales, who provides daily strategic and tactical direction. This Account Executive will work closely with the Vice President of Vaezr Studio & Strategic Innovation who provides oversight of the division's overall strategic direction, resource management, and service capabilities.
Location: Zirous provides a hybrid work model, offering in-office days Monday - Thursday and work from home (remote) days each Friday. On-site office days within the Urbandale, IA office will vary due to the nature of this sales position. Your daily work location may vary based on client prospecting activities and partner events. Local candidates within the Des Moines, IA metro will be given priority in the recruitment process.
What You'll Do
  • Identify, target, and win new business opportunities regarding Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), Mixed Reality (MR), and Artificial Intelligence (AI) based projects.
  • Build and manage a healthy pipeline through prospecting, networking, referrals, events, and strategic outreach.
  • Develop strong relationships with executive stakeholders, marketing leaders, business unit leaders, and technology decision-makers.
  • Lead discovery conversations to uncover client goals, challenges, and opportunities for immersive experiences.
  • Translate complex technical and creative capabilities into clear business outcomes and compelling value propositions.
  • Partner with strategy, creative, design, and delivery teams to shape client solutions and proposals.
  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through close, including qualification, solution positioning, pricing discussions, and contract negotiation.
  • Collaborate with marketing and leadership to refine go-to-market messaging, campaign focus, and target industries.
  • Stay informed on market trends, competitive offerings, and evolving immersive technology strategies.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting, and account activity within CRM.
  • Represent the company professionally in client meetings, presentations, industry events, and networking opportunities.
  • Work closely with the Director of Sales, Director of Marketing & Sales Strategy, Vice President of Vaezr Studio & Strategic Innovation, Resource Managers, and team of Technical Experts.

Requirements
What We're Looking For
  • 3 - 5+ years of professional experience in sourcing, cold calling, and leveraging sales intelligence and data platforms such as ZoomInfo and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • 3 - 5+ years of successful B2B sales experience, preferably in consulting, digital services, creative services, video production, custom technology solutions, innovation services, or emerging technology.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding assigned sales targets and growing strategic accounts.
  • Strong hunter mentality with the discipline to prospect consistently and create opportunities.
  • Experience selling complex, consultative solutions with multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to understand and communicate the business value of immersive technology solutions.
  • Strong executive presence, communication skills, and presentation ability.
  • Confidence in navigating ambiguity and building momentum in a developing market.
  • Highly motivated, self-directed, and energized by competition and growth.
  • Ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams to shape and close opportunities.
  • Experience using CRM tools, preferably Salesforce to manage pipeline and forecast accurately.
  • Understanding of how effective experiential training can be designed to reduce human error, increase employee confidence, and enhance safety in high-risk and emotionally charged scenarios.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience selling immersive, experiential, digital transformation, creative, or innovation-related services.
  • Familiarity with VR, AR, MR, AI, spatial computing, 3D visualization, interactive and experience platforms.
  • Existing relationships in industries such as manufacturing, healthcare, retail, training, education, field services, or enterprise innovation
  • Experience working with technical, creative, and consulting teams in solution-based selling environments
