Job description

You will play a critical role in identifying, engaging, and developing top executive talent. Partnering closely with senior recruiting leaders and key stakeholders, you will own and drive the sourcing strategy and execution across high-impact leadership searches. This role sits at the center of market intelligence, candidate development, and search execution-serving as a trusted advisor to both internal partners and prospective candidates.

You will

Search Execution & Delivery

  • Partner with Executive Recruiters and Business Leaders to deliver high-quality executive search engagements

  • Drive the end-to-end sourcing lifecycle-from market mapping through candidate development

  • Ensure rigorous execution, attention to detail, and a high standard of candidate experience

Market Intelligence & Talent Mapping

  • Develop and execute research strategies to identify target companies and talent pools

  • Build comprehensive talent maps aligned to business priorities and leadership competencies

  • Maintain deep knowledge of industry trends, competitor landscapes, and executive talent movements

Candidate Identification & Engagement

  • Execute on proactive outreach strategies to attract passive executive talent

  • Qualify candidates through thoughtful screening, assessing capability, motivation, and fit

  • Build long-term relationships with executive talent pipelines

  • Partner with recruiters to calibrate candidate profiles and refine search strategies

Stakeholder Partnership

  • Collaborate closely with executive recruiters to align on search strategy and candidate profiles

  • Communicate insights, progress, and market feedback to inform decision-making

  • Contribute to search updates and executive-level candidate presentations

Data, Reporting & Insights

  • Maintain accurate and high-quality data within recruiting systems and talent databases

  • Generate insights from search activity to inform future hiring and talent strategies

  • Support the creation of candidate profiles, market summaries, and search progress reports

  • Strong executive sourcing and research expertise with a structured, strategic approach

  • Ability to engage and influence senior-level candidates with credibility and professionalism

  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent searches in a fast-paced environment

Experience & Qualifications

  • 2-5+ years of experience in executive search, recruiting, or talent sourcing from a retained search firm or financial services is a plus

  • Experience supporting or leading searches for senior-level or leadership roles preferred

  • Demonstrated ability to operate in a highly consultative and research-driven environment

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities

  • Comfortable interacting with and presenting to senior stakeholders

Location

Hybrid role - 3 days in office in the Hudson Yards, NYC or Stamford, CT office; 2 days WFH

Salary Range:

$82,770.00 - $135,975.00

The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
