EXECUTIVE SECRETARY THE PRESIDENT

Waynesburg University is currently seeking applicants for an Executive Secretary to the President. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled. This is a full-time, benefits eligible position. Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience required; Master’s degree preferred. Minimum of five years of progressively responsible administrative experience, preferably in higher education or a similar setting. Experience supporting senior executives or trustees strongly preferred. The Executive Secretary to the President provides high-level administrative and operational support to the President of the University, ensuring efficient management of the President’s Office. The role requires a high degree of professionalism, discretion, and judgment in handling sensitive and confidential matters. The Executive Secretary serves as a liaison between the President, internal and external stakeholders, and the Board of Trustees, supporting the mission, vision, and Christian values of the University. The position provides a variety of duties requiring independent judgment including maintaining the President's schedule, office communications, coordinating travel arrangements, budget reconciliation, mailings, and record keeping. Candidates must be committed both personally and professionally to the mission and purpose of Christian Higher Education.
