Job description

The Account Executive / Marketing Associate will manage client business with the support of an award-winning creative agency team. In this role, you will manage the development, implementation, and optimization of marketing and advertising efforts in support of the client’s mission and business objectives. You’ll be instrumental in building the client’s consumer base and driving growth. Success in this position requires a great disposition, project management, and customer service skills, as well as the ability to recalibrate and pivot as the need arises. 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

Deliver best-in-class client services: 

  • Understand client's marketing support and creative needs, communicate those needs, generate estimates, secure approval, and diligently manage projects through implementation. 

  • Work alongside key stakeholders (internal teams and vendors), as well as virtual marketing and creative teams. 

  • Preempt and proactively address client inquiries and concerns.  

  • Drive for measurable value that delivers growth. 

  • Be readily available to meet, via phone calls and video conferences, during client’s and agency’s regular office hours. 

Develop, implement, optimize, and scale marketing efforts: 

  • Design, execute, and measure campaigns for acquisition, retention, and loyalty development. 

  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams and external vendors, to ensure integration and alignment. 

  • Proactively steward the customer journey across a variety of channels for multiple product lines, managing trigger points and overcoming barriers to drive conversion and loyalty. 

  • Provide timely, fact-based, actionable KPI reports and recommendations. 

  • Calibrate efforts diligently to maximize performance. 

  • Develop detailed work plans, schedules, status reports, testing, and project estimates. 

  • Conduct project meetings and be responsible for project tracking and analysis. 

  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and review project deliverables. 

Support business development efforts and promotional activities. This includes participating in RFP responses, prospecting and contacting potential clients, as well as actively contributing to the agency’s growth and thought leadership. 

KEY QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Bachelor’s degree required (preferably in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or related field) 

  • 3+ years of experience at an Ad Agency or Marketing post (i.e., client side)  

  • Analytical and strategic – you don’t take things at face value and you enjoy solving challenges; you can assess a situation, identify opportunities, and make decisions in pursuit of a goal 

  • Outgoing and collaborative – you can manage multiple projects simultaneously and lead cross-functional teams from ideation to completion 

  • Diligent, detail-oriented and organized – you’re comfortable juggling multiple tasks and projects, also able to assess priorities and meet timelines 

  • Excellent communicator, with superior written and spoken English language skills 

  • Proficient using Microsoft Office products including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Teams, as well as project management apps (i.e., Monday, Jira, etc.) 

This is a non-exempt hourly position. Typical schedules are expected to range from 30–40 hours per week based on workload and client needs. Opportunities for increased responsibility and advancement may be available based on performance and business needs.
