Position Description: IT Support SpecialistLocation: Artesia, New MexicoEmployment Type: Full-TimePosition SummaryWe are seeking a dependable IT Support Specialist to manage and maintain our organizations Wi-Fi network and digital television systems at our Artesia, New Mexico location. This role is responsible for ensuring reliable connectivity, troubleshooting technical issues, and maintaining stable network performance for staff and facility operations. The ideal candidate is proactive, technically skilled, and capable of resolving issues quickly to minimize downtime.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor and maintain Wi-Fi network performance to ensure consistent connectivity and uptime.Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues, including routers, access points, and related hardware.Install, configure, and maintain digital TV systems and related equipment.Diagnose and repair issues affecting internet access and television services.Perform routine maintenance and updates on networking equipment and systems.Coordinate with internet service providers or vendors when necessary to resolve outages or service issues.Document technical issues, solutions, and system changes.Provide on-site technical support for staff and operational needs.Identify potential improvements to strengthen network reliability and performance.Required QualificationsExperience in IT support, network support, or a similar technical role.Working knowledge of Wi-Fi networking, routers, switches, and access points.Experience troubleshooting internet connectivity issues.Familiarity with digital TV systems or audiovisual equipment.Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Ability to work independently and respond quickly to technical issues.Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening. $32.37 - $32.37 Hourly
