Sales Executive - Golf, Kohler Wisconsin
Work Mode: Onsite
Location:Onsite 4 - Kohler, Wisconsin
Opportunity
The Sales Executive -Golf, Kohler Wisconsin will be dedicated to a focused sales effort to maximize group golf andleisure group golf business in achieving proposed round targets, occupancy andfinancial goals.
Specific Responsibilities
  • Active and participative member of group sales team; working within guidelines to promote team and individual productivity and growth.
  • Achieve or exceed group golf round / revenue and room night / supplemental revenue goals as outlined in the approved financial plan.
  • Produce targeted sales action plans on a quarterly and annual basis for assigned market segments. These market segments include the PGA Professional travel market, Club Management travel market, golf tournament / event travel market, golf tour operator, golf company vendor market and other various golf industry markets.
  • Achieve and maintain exceptional knowledge of all Kohler Hospitality businesses, to include history, business operations etc.
  • Conduct tours of hospitality businesses for qualified potential customers.
  • Develop and maintain Key Accounts within assigned market segments and promote repeat group bookings.
  • Manage accounts and identify additional revenue streams for DSA in the domestic U.S. markets.
  • Update Delphi with all sales appointments, appointment notes and actions.
  • Complete monthly sales report on sales achieved versus targets.
  • Utilize all hospitality resources responsibly.
  • Provide consistent and timely delivery of services to clients and assure group satisfaction.
  • Organize assigned event(s) (Fam trip, offsite promotion etc.) complete with timeline for completion while maintaining approved budget.
  • Attend industry trade shows.
  • Must be able to travel to client offices for sales calls.

Skills/Requirements
  • 4-year degree required.
  • PGA Professional preferred
  • Minimum of 3 year experience coordinating / selling golf events.
  • Demonstrated results in obtaining new sales and growing sales beyond annual projections.
  • Effective oral & written communication skills, excellent follow through, and an ability to multi-task; excellent listening, communication and presentation abilities, computer literate.
  • Membership with at least one golf industry association preferred.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid drivers license.
