Job description

Archer is an aerospace company based in San Jose, California building an all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft with a mission to advance the benefits of sustainable air mobility. We are designing, manufacturing, and operating an all-electric aircraft that can carry four passengers while producing minimal noise.

As an Executive IT Support Technician, you will be the dedicated technical resource for Archer's leadership team. You will provide rapid-response, "white-glove" IT support, ensuring that our Executives have seamless access to the technology they need to lead the company. This role requires a unique mix of high-level technical troubleshooting, extreme discretion, and a service-first mindset.
What You Will Do
  • Executive Concierge Support: Act as the primary point of contact for all Executive technical needs, providing immediate onsite and remote troubleshooting for laptops, mobile devices, and home office setups.
  • A/V & Meeting Support: Ensure all Executive-led meetings and board presentations run flawlessly by managing and proactive testing of A/V systems and conference room technology.
  • Device Management: Execute the deployment, imaging, and maintenance of all Executive hardware, ensuring devices are always up-to-date, secure, and performing optimally.
  • User Lifecycle: Manage the seamless onboarding and off boarding of Executive staff, including identity management, hardware provisioning, and personalized 1-on-1 training.
  • Compliance & Privacy: Strictly follow SOX, ISO, and internal privacy protocols, handling sensitive executive data with the highest level of confidentiality.
  • Infrastructure Assistance: Assist the broader IT team with physical hardware installations (servers, racks, etc.) while prioritizing Executive-facing environments.

What You Need
  • Experience: 3+ years of IT support experience, with at least 1 year specifically supporting Executives or high-profile users.
  • Availability: Ability to work 5 days onsite at our HQ; must be flexible to provide support aligned with Executive schedules and occasional travel.
  • Travel: Occasional domestic and international travel required
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Mac/PC environments, mobile device management (MDM), and enterprise A/V solutions (e.g., Zoom Rooms, Slack, etc.).
  • Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
  • Discretion: A proven track record of handling confidential information with integrity.
  • Physical Ability: Ability to move and lift IT equipment (up to 50 lbs) as needed.
