Job Description Role: Executive Assistant to Founder Location: San Francisco, CA | Onsite 4-5 Days/Week Compensation: $140,000-$160,000+ DOE + Exceptional Benefits Industry: Hypergrowth Technology Startup Are you energized by building alongside a founder during a pivotal stage of growth. Do you thrive in fast-paced environments where priorities shift quickly, communication is constant, and no two days look the same. A rapidly scaling technology company is seeking a highly capable Executive Assistant to serve as a trusted partner to its first-time Founder.

This is an opportunity to step into a visible role at the center of a high-growth organization, working closely with a visionary leader as the company continues to scale. The ideal candidate is proactive, tech-savvy, exceptionally organized, and understands how to operate as a true extension of an executive. This person is comfortable navigating ambiguity, anticipating needs before they arise, and helping bring structure to a dynamic environment.

Day-to-Day Provide dedicated support to the Founder, managing a complex and ever-evolving calendar, scheduling priorities, and strategic time management. Own inbox management, helping prioritize communications, draft responses, track action items, and ensure timely follow-through. Serve as a strategic thought partner by helping organize priorities, prepare for meetings, and drive accountability across key initiatives.

Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements, including detailed itineraries and last-minute changes. Prepare meeting materials, agendas, presentations, and briefing documents to keep the Founder informed and prepared. Act as a liaison between the Founder and internal/external stakeholders, maintaining professionalism, discretion, and strong communication.

Track projects, deadlines, and follow-up items across multiple workstreams, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks. Leverage technology, productivity tools, and AI-driven resources to streamline workflows and increase efficiency. Help establish and improve operational processes as the company continues to grow and evolve.

The Ideal Candidate Experience supporting a Founder, CEO, or senior executive within a startup or high-growth environment. Proven ability to partner with first-time founders and navigate rapidly changing priorities. Strong inbox and calendar management experience with exceptional attention to detail.

Comfortable operating with autonomy and making thoughtful decisions in a fast-moving environment. Highly organized with outstanding project management and follow-through skills. Tech-savvy and quick to adopt new tools, systems, and technologies.

Strong written and verbal communication skills. Naturally proactive with a solutions-oriented mindset and a genuine sense of ownership. Thrives in startup environments where flexibility, resourcefulness, and adaptability are highly valued.
