What is EVV software?

EVV software, or Electronic Visit Verification software, is a digital system used to verify that home health care services are delivered to patients as scheduled. It records details such as the time, date, and location of care visits, as well as the type of service provided. This software is typically used by home care agencies to ensure compliance with Medicaid and other regulatory requirements, reduce fraud, and improve the accuracy of billing and payroll processes. By using EVV software, agencies can streamline operations and provide greater transparency to payers and clients.

What are some common challenges faced by professionals working with EVV software, and how can they be addressed?

Professionals working with EVV software often encounter challenges such as ensuring accurate and timely data entry, maintaining compliance with evolving state and federal regulations, and supporting caregivers who may have varying levels of technical proficiency. Addressing these challenges typically involves thorough training, ongoing support, and regular communication between administrative staff, caregivers, and software vendors. Additionally, teams often establish clear protocols for troubleshooting and leverage software updates to improve usability and compliance.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an EVV software specialist, and why are they important?

To thrive as an EVV Software Specialist, you need a solid understanding of healthcare compliance, data management, and software troubleshooting, often supported by a degree in IT or healthcare administration. Familiarity with EVV platforms (such as Sandata or HHAeXchange), data integration tools, and knowledge of HIPAA regulations are typically required. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and training skills help you support users and facilitate smooth software adoption. These skills ensure accurate data capture, regulatory compliance, and effective support within home healthcare organizations.

Job description

Use Your Customer Service & Tech Skills to Support Arizona’s DDD Providers

LifeTree, a DDD agency, is seeking a detail-oriented, tech-savvy Client Support Coordinator to help manage and troubleshoot provider-related data and documentation within our electronic systems.

You’ll be the go-to person for providers and staff who need help with timekeeping, system updates, documentation edits, and service logs. While this role involves working with an EVV system, your real job is making sure people get support quickly, professionally, and accurately.

If you enjoy being the person people turn to when they’re stuck — and you know your way around tech and admin systems — this could be a great fit.

What You’ll Do:

  • Respond to support requests from providers and staff regarding timekeeping and visit verification issues
  • Edit and approve submitted service data (clock-ins/outs, visit logs, schedule updates)
  • Troubleshoot and resolve basic technical issues related to EVV software
  • Train and assist new providers on how to use the system
  • Communicate with professionalism and empathy when resolving issues
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure documentation meets compliance standards
  • Work closely with admin and field teams to keep provider data clean and updated

You’d Be a Great Fit If You:

  • Have experience in customer service, tech support, or healthcare admin
  • Are comfortable working in digital systems (data entry, editing, approval workflows)
  • Have a natural ability to explain things clearly and patiently
  • Are organized, responsive, and able to juggle multiple incoming support requests
  • Take pride in solving problems and being someone others can count on
  • Can work independently and communicate clearly with the team

Preferred Skills (Not Required):

  • Familiarity with EVV systems or healthcare scheduling software
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

Why Join LifeTree?

  • Competitive pay ($24–$25/hr depending on experience)
  • Supportive leadership and admin team — we value communication and growth
  • Paid training and ongoing support
  • Make an impact by supporting providers and improving care delivery for individuals with special needs

Apply Today

If you’re tech-savvy, service-focused, and ready to support a mission-driven agency, we’d love to hear from you. Apply today and join a team that’s making a difference behind the scenes — one solved ticket at a time.
