Job description

Imagine having the power to stress-test an entire power grid against a hurricane or thunderstorm before the clouds even gather. That is the reality we are creating at Neara.
We use advanced machine learning to create engineering-grade, physics enabled digital twins of electricity grids across four continents, this helps asset owners understand their biggest challenges and bring the most viable solutions to life across millions of kilometres of infrastructure.
By simulating extreme weather and structural stress at a network-wide scale, we empower the world's largest utilities to pinpoint risks, optimise investments and build a more resilient global energy future.
Our team is a collection of brilliant minds who are fanatical about making a tangible difference in the real world, utilising AI and machine learning to accelerate everything from data classification to complex scenario analysis. We have built a special culture where innovation thrives because everyone owns the mission and we need smart, creative people to help us scale this impact to every corner of the globe.
The Role
We're seeking an experienced events leader with excellent taste to design and deliver executive-caliber experiences that reflect the sophistication of our brand and the seniority of our audience.
This is not a traditional trade show coordinator role and it's a brand-defining, pipeline-driving role responsible for transforming events into a strategic advantage. You will own Neara's executive summits, flagship conference presence, curated customer gatherings, and premium materials for any and all in-person gatherings, ensuring every detail signals category leadership and premium brand. Your mandate is to make our in-person and digital experiences unmistakably polished, thoughtfully curated, and commercially impactful.
  • Own Neara's most high-impact executive events and conference touchpoints end-to-end
  • Elevate our physical brand presence into the most sophisticated and conversation-worthy in our space
  • Drive flawless cross-functional coordination across Sales, Marketing, Product, and Leadership

What You Will Do:
  • Design and deliver curated executive summits, advisory gatherings, and private customer events with white-glove precision
  • Own Neara's end-to-end strategy and presence at global flagship conferences
  • Build a premium, cohesive conference marketing kit - booth, materials, swag, environment - that signals category leadership instantly
  • Build and maintain rigorous, clear, shared master project plans for every major event, with clear owners, timelines, dependencies, and risk mitigation
  • Act as the cross-functional command center - ensuring Sales, PMM, Comms, Execs, and vendors are aligned and on schedule
  • Orchestrate adjacent executive experiences (private dinners, invite-only briefings, curated offsites) that deepen strategic relationships
  • Shape event agendas in partnership with Marketing, Sales, and Leadership to ensure commercial and narrative alignment
  • Elevate webinars into polished digital experiences with tight run-of-show, speaker prep, and follow-through
  • Establish scalable global systems for event planning, vendor management, and budget control
  • Ensure post-event follow-up, reporting, and pipeline tracking are tightly coordinated with Sales

What We Are Offering You:
  • Equity ownership through a competitive Employee Stock Option Plan (ESOP)
  • Significant career development and growth opportunities
  • Highly meritocratic, non-bureaucratic, and low ego work culture
  • The opportunity to work on complex, meaningful products and real-world problems
  • The opportunity to play a direct, critical role in the trajectory of a high-growth company
