Position: Event Setup/ Warehouse Associate

Location: Behind the Scenes Catering located in Sorrento Valley

Reports To: Director of Operations

Schedule: Part-time position with up to 40 hours a week. 7am-3:30pm

Pay Rate: $16-20 depending on experience.

The company is headquartered in San Diego, California and services large corporations, private clients, major sports and news broadcast companies, venues, concert tours, golf events, corporate marketing tours, and major sporting events throughout San Diego and across the globe.

Job Description: As an event Setup/ Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of events and maintaining an organized warehouse space. Your Responsibilities include:

1.       Event Setup/ Breakdown:

       Assist in the load in and setup and breakdown of event spaces as well as loading out of events.

2.       Inventory:

       Receive, inspect, and inventory event equipment and supplies upon delivery.

       Maintain accurate recordings of inventory levels and work with Director of Operations to maintain inventory.

3.       Equipment Maintenance:

       Ensure that all event equipment is clean, well-maintained, and in good working condition.

       Perform basic maintenance tasks and coordinate with Director of Operations for repairs or replacements when necessary.

4.       Logistics Support:

       Assist in loading and unloading event equipment onto trucks or vans.

       Safely transport equipment to warehouse post event.

       Follow safety protocols and guidelines during all transportation activities.

5.       Organization and Cleanliness:

       Keep warehouse clean and organized to facilitate efficient storage and retrieval of equipment.

       Label and categorize items for easy identification and access.

6.       Team Culture:

       Work closely with team members to ensure seamless event set up and warehouse operations.

       Communicate effectively with event planners and coordinators to meet event requirements.

Qualifications:

       Prior experience with event setup or warehouse experience preferred but not required.

       A Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.

       Ability to lift heavy objects.

       Available to work evenings and or weekends.

       Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts preferred but not required.
