STATUS: PART-TIME (NON-EXEMPT)

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Events Team Member will be responsible for the assistance of event, retail and food & beverage operations.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
  • Assists guests with questions about the facility
  • Serves as the night supervisor and point of contact for guests during nights, weekends and holidays
  • Meet with facility clients to determine needs for birthday parties, luncheons, dinners, recitals, tournaments or games
  • Reviews use agreements with clients
  • Prepares and distributes work orders when necessary
  • Keeps accurate records of receivables and works with Finance Manager to assure proper billing occurs
  • Operates office equipment needed to complete tasks and regular duties
  • Assists with carrying chairs, tables, sound equipment, and any other items required for specific work events
  • Works with security to assure the facility is properly closed and locked each evening
  • Oversees and assists in post-event cleaning as needed
  • Complete any other special projects and daily assignments as directed by the General Manager

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 2-3 years of appropriate experience required
  • Must have excellent interpersonal, problem solving and negotiating skills
  • Must be a team player
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have excellent computer skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Must be able to work flexible schedules including weekends, nights and holidays

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Must be able to lift 30 pounds
  • May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time whether indoors or outdoors
  • Facility has intermittent noise
  • Will be required to operate a computer
