The Assembler Coordinator assists the supervisor in meeting production goals by performing a variety of semi-skilled manual duties, requiring knowledge of techniques, tools, equipment, and safety precautions. The role involves exercising independent judgment and ensuring work is performed at a quality level consistent with Wabash's standard practice.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Below are examples of the type of duties you could be responsible for:
- Primary duty is to assist supervisor to meet production goals as outlined by the supervisor.
- Leading a team of hourly employees.
- To perform a variety of semi-skilled manual duties requiring knowledge of techniques, tools, equipment and safety precautions.
- To adhere to and enforce the general safety plan.
- May be required to do other duties as requested by supervisor.
- Primary job functions require exercising independent judgement.
- Ensures work is performed at a quality level consistent with Wabash's standard practice.
- Good attendance is critical, and coordinator is required to report all absences directly to supervisor.
- Must be willing and able to work overtime.

Upon receiving an offer letter from us, you'll undergo orientation and several days of training, preparing you for the production floor.

Physical Demands:
As an Assembler Coordinator, you are regularly required to stand, walk, lean, push, climb, sit, bend, kneel, stoop, handle and operate tools or controls for the length of their entire shift. The employee needs full range of motion in their arms and hands in this position. All Assembler Coordinator's must be able to successfully communicate with fellow employees as well. Some Assembler Coordinators also work in small spaces throughout their shift and frequently lift and/or carry objects up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus, along with good hand-eye coordination.

Regularly required to lift and carry up to 35 (thirty-five) pounds. Frequently required to lift and carry up to fifty-five (55) pounds. Occasionally required to lift and carry up to seventy-five (75) pounds.
Must be able to work in an environment requiring use of ladder, stairs, heights, platforms and climbing in and out of trailers or working under trailers in tight spaces.
Must have ability to operate a variety of power and hand tools safely, work with compressed air safely, operate fork trucks safely and utilize personal protective equipment (PPE)
