WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Nike is looking for a seasoned event planning professional who thrives in fast-paced, highly matrixed environments and brings a relentless focus on executional excellence. They combine operational rigor with strategic thinking, using process, technology, and data to continuously improve how events are planned and delivered. The ideal candidate is service-minded, adaptable, and energized by collaboration, with a proven ability to lead complex meetings and events from concept to execution while delivering seamless experiences for both internal and external audiences.
- 5+ years of professional experience in meeting and event planning, including hotel operations, catering, travel logistics, and onsite event management
- Bachelor's degree in Business or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training
- Experience supporting senior leaders and executive-level audiences while managing multiple high-visibility events simultaneously
- Demonstrated proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Keynote, Box, Cvent, and Airtable
- Open to work in Beaverton, Oregon. This role is based onsite and is not eligible for remote work
WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON
You will lead the planning, coordination, and execution of strategic partner-facing and internal events that support Nike's North America Go-To-Market strategy. From initial concept through onsite delivery, you'll create experiences that strengthen relationships, enable selling moments, and drive business impact. Go-To-Market (GTM) terminology aligned with Nike standards.
- Lead end-to-end planning and execution of seasonal sales meetings, Key Account Planning Meeting (KAPM) sessions, partner summits, and other strategic business events
- Build strong partnerships with Account Directors, Sport Sales Directors, Finance teams, and executive stakeholders to align event objectives, agendas, and attendee experiences
- Manage event logistics including registration, travel coordination, hotel sourcing, transportation, catering, offsite experiences, and attendee communications
- Own event budgets, monitor expenses, manage purchase orders, and partner with Finance teams to ensure fiscal responsibility and accuracy
- Provide hands-on onsite support, including badging, vendor management, production oversight, issue resolution, and executive support
- Drive process improvements by leveraging tools and technology to create more efficient, scalable, and repeatable event planning practices
- Simultaneously manage multiple events with varying timelines, stakeholder groups, and business objectives while maintaining a premium Nike experience for every participant
