Summary/Function:
The Marketing & Event Planning Coordinator supports a variety of marketing initiatives including primarily event coordination and all collateral used in the execution of events including digital content in order to contribute to the successful promotion of the D.A. Davidson Companies brand. This role will report directly to Director of Marketing and will have a unique opportunity to collaborate among multiple business units thus having a window into the workings and opportunities within a diversified and dynamic financial services firm.

Primary Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree, concentration in Hospitality, tourism or travel management
   Experience in Corporate Event planning
   Ability to work with a high degree of flexibility and adaptability
   Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
   Demonstrated ability to think creatively and provide solid rational for recommendations 
   Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented mindset
   Ability to work with tight deadlines, while delivering good quality content and maintaining a high degree of follow-through
   Strong time management skills with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
   Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working in a fast-paced, team environment as well as independently
   This role is 100% in-office. Candidates must have the ability to work on-site, full-time, five days per week. 
   Ability to travel as required

Primary Duties:
Event planning including sourcing and inspecting venues to drive selection decisions; work with vendors to get bids and determine best fits for the budget and goals of the event; negotiate and manage vendor contracts; coordinate event logistics, food, travel, lodging, meeting equipment and materials; manage attendance records; provide on-site problem solving and troubleshooting during events
   Responsible for web-related meeting needs, including registration site creation and management 
   Proactively engage with meeting attendees to ascertain and address their specific needs and requirements both leading up to and during events; develop methodology and processes to ensure outreach is organized, comprehensive, and effective
   Perform other duties as assigned

The potential base pay hiring range for this role is $72,000 - 92,000 annually. This role is eligible to participate in applicable D.A. Davidson variable compensation programs. The compensation offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis considering a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the skills, relevant work experience, and geographic location of each specific candidate.
