Job description

SUMMARY:
The Human Resources Representative is responsible for facilitating a wide variety of HR processes. The representative assists with recruitment, onboarding and employee performance processes; maintains employee records and represents the human resources department internally and externally.
Salary Compensation: The compensation range for this position is $52,383-$66,134 annually.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Facilitates various HR department processes.
• Assists employees with human resources and employment related questions.
• Participates in the coordination of employee activities, events planning and community involvement efforts.
• Assists in the administration of employee performance reviews and corrective action processes.
• Assists with talent acquisition activities to include but not limited to screening applicants, verifying experience and backgrounds, scheduling interviews, maintaining applicant records; organizing and participating in recruitment and hiring events.
• Performs employee onboarding activities.
• Maintains, organizes, and ensures compliance with employee records including but not limited to personnel records, training records, I-9s, benefits, LOA, and Workers Compensation.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
• Other duties as required.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.

WORKING CONDITIONS/OTHER:
• Work Hours/Status: Full Time/ Parttime, Salary-Exempt, 40+ hours per week, Monday - Friday.
• Travel Requirements: Occasional travel may be required.
• The job works in a normal office environment with no undue exposure to noise, dust, odors, drafts, etc.
• Sitting/standing, free to move around, some repetitive movements (i.e. keyboarding).
• Sustained visual concentration on numbers, policy documents, etc. while viewing small areas such as monitors and small screens.
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of federal and state employment law, compliance, trends, new technologies and best practices in areas of responsibilities.
