Job Summary:

The Event Management Practice Area Analyst will contribute to the planning, design, and implementation of ITIL ITSM Event processes while collaborating with stakeholders to enhance service delivery and operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Contributes to the planning, design, and implementation of ITIL ITSM Event processes
โ€ข Participates in the deployment and transformation of IT infrastructure processes and procedures
โ€ข Provides analysis and support for on-going service delivery, performance, and governance operations
โ€ข Collaborates with key process stakeholders to capture process implementation, work instructions, and knowledge expertise
โ€ข Helps monitor services throughout ITIL ITSM process lifecycle; verifying adherence to specified process requirements and support quality assurance activities
โ€ข Contributes to analysis, evaluation, and assessment leading to development of recommendations for process improvements, optimization, and/or development efforts for IT processes
โ€ข Identifies and recommends enhancements to event management tools, workflows, and processes based on operational findings and trend analysis
โ€ข Participates in evaluations and quality assessments for proper implementation of processes to meet quality standards
โ€ข Participates in TEMs and other requirement gathering work sessions
โ€ข Works as a self-starter who delivers high quality work and can adapt to new challenges, either on their own or as part of a team
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข An Active TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph
โ€ข Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 3 years of related work experience
โ€ข Extensive working knowledge of Service Management workflows and ITSM processes
โ€ข Relevant experience as an ITSM Event Process Analyst in programs of similar scope, type, and complexity
โ€ข Good written and communication skills with the ability to clearly document and explain business processes
Preferred:
โ€ข ITIL certifications or training
โ€ข Experience with network devicesโ€”ability to read devices and throughputs, ascertain false positive readings, and determine if reported events are actionable
โ€ข Familiarity with ServiceNow, Splunk, SRS, or other ITSM management tools
โ€ข Familiarity with Tableau
