Job description

Position Summary The Conference & Event Services team at Strategic Analysis, Inc. is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Assistant/Intern to provide part-time support for the planning and execution of meetings and events for our government clients.ย  ย This entry-level role is ideal for someone interested in event management, hospitality, or logistics operations. The Meeting & Event Assistant will provide administrative and on-site support to the events team, assist with logistics coordination, and help ensure a positive experience for attendees and stakeholders.

Potential Responsibilities: Assignments may include one or more of the following tasks: ยทAssist with planning and coordinating meetings, conferences, and special events ยทSupport event logistics including setup/teardown, registration, signage, catering, transportation, materials preparation, and on-site support ยทTrack attendee lists, RSVPs, and event details using spreadsheets and event management systems ยทPrepare meeting materials, agendas, name badges, and presentation support items ยทSupport post-event activities including surveys, reporting, and inventory organization ยทPerform other administrative duties as assigned Qualifications: ยทHigh school diploma required; currently pursuing or recently completed an associate or bachelor's degree ยทCompletion of at least one professional meeting/event planning program ยทExperience in using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) ยทStrong organizational skills and attention to detail ยทExcellent written and verbal communication skills ยทPositive attitude, professionalism, and willingness to learn ยทPrior customer service, hospitality, volunteer, or campus event experience is a plus but not required Work Environment ยทIn office or outdoor environment, depending on event schedule ยทTravel for on-site event support will be required ยทAbility to stand for extended periods during event execution, work outdoors in varying weather conditions including heat and sun exposure, and lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
