Job description

Position Summary The Conference & Event Services team at Strategic Analysis, Inc. is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Assistant/Intern to provide part-time support for the planning and execution of meetings and events for our government clients.   This entry-level role is ideal for someone interested in event management, hospitality, or logistics operations. The Meeting & Event Assistant will provide administrative and on-site support to the events team, assist with logistics coordination, and help ensure a positive experience for attendees and stakeholders.

Potential Responsibilities: Assignments may include one or more of the following tasks: ·Assist with planning and coordinating meetings, conferences, and special events ·Support event logistics including setup/teardown, registration, signage, catering, transportation, materials preparation, and on-site support ·Track attendee lists, RSVPs, and event details using spreadsheets and event management systems ·Prepare meeting materials, agendas, name badges, and presentation support items ·Support post-event activities including surveys, reporting, and inventory organization ·Perform other administrative duties as assigned Qualifications: ·High school diploma required; currently pursuing or recently completed an associate or bachelor's degree ·Completion of at least one professional meeting/event planning program ·Experience in using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) ·Strong organizational skills and attention to detail ·Excellent written and verbal communication skills ·Positive attitude, professionalism, and willingness to learn ·Prior customer service, hospitality, volunteer, or campus event experience is a plus but not required Work Environment ·In office or outdoor environment, depending on event schedule ·Travel for on-site event support will be required ·Ability to stand for extended periods during event execution, work outdoors in varying weather conditions including heat and sun exposure, and lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
