Job description

Description
We are seeking an experienced and technically skilled Videographer & Video Editor to record a speaker series for Pace's Center for Ethical Thinking (CET) and to edit and prepare footage for distribution on YouTube and social media. We anticipate holding between 4 and 6 events during the 2026-2027 academic year. Job requirements and expectations include:
  • Collaboration with the CET Faculty Director and Student Directors on event planning and preparation
  • Professional communication with invited speakers to prepare them for the event
  • Recording duties for all CET Speaker Series events
  • Availability for training as needed on camera equipment and editing software with the Director of Pace's Makerspace
  • Professional and timely editing of event footage, including footage of the entire event for distribution on YouTube, as well as event highlights for social media content

Requirements
Pace University will supply all required equipment and provide access to editing software. The successful candidate will have experience with editing in Adobe Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, or AVID Media Composer, as well as experience setting up and operating digital video cameras, including optimizing image quality, recording codecs, and camera profiles for a variety of production environments.
The successful candidate must be able to commit to the position for the full 2026-2027 academic year.
