Salary range: An annual salary range of $85,000 - $90,000 is what we expect to pay for this position, based on overall skills and experience.

This role is required to be ONSITE with a Hybrid schedule.

What you'll do: The Escrow Specialist is responsible for the administration, analysis, and reconciliation of escrow accounts associated with commercial loan portfolios. This role ensures accurate collection, disbursement, and monitoring of escrow funds related to taxes and other obligations, while maintaining compliance with regulatory and internal policy requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Manage escrow account setup, maintenance, and monitoring across loan portfolios
  • Perform escrow analyses to ensure adequate funding for tax and other obligation requirements
  • Process disbursements of property taxes and other escrow-related obligations
  • Reconcile escrow balances and investigate discrepancies, shortages, or overages
  • Monitor exception reports and resolve aged escrow items (e.g., unpaid taxes or other outstanding obligations)
  • Coordinate with borrowers, taxing authorities, and internal teams to ensure timely processing
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal procedures
  • Maintain accurate system records and audit-ready documentation
  • Support KPI reporting and portfolio performance analysis

What do you need?
  • 3-5+ years of experience in Loan Operations: (escrow, servicing, or related functions preferred)
  • Strong understanding of escrow processes, including tax and obligation tracking
  • Ability to perform escrow analysis calculations (shortage/surplus, projections)
  • Knowledge of loan servicing systems and escrow-related GL impacts
  • Experience identifying and resolving reconciliation breaks and exceptions
  • Familiarity with property tax cycles and obligation disbursement timelines
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage high-volume workflows
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy in financial data
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners

Technology Skills:
  • Knowledge of core banking/loan servicing systems (IBS Insight preferred)
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or similar workflow/case management tools
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (pivot tables, reconciliations, tracking logs)
  • Experience with reporting tools and data extracts
  • Working knowledge of AI tools (CoPilot, ChatGPT) for workflow efficiency and data validation
