Help Optimize Revenue Cycle Performance Through Technology
We are seeking a detail-oriented Epic Resolute Billing Application Analyst to join our Digital Technology Services (DTS) team. In this role, you will support and optimize the Epic Resolute Professional Billing and Hospital Billing applications that power revenue cycle operations across Deaconess Health System.
Working at the intersection of Information Technology, Revenue Cycle, Finance, and operational departments, you will help ensure accurate billing workflows, optimize reimbursement processes, improve claims management, and enhance the overall effectiveness of our Epic revenue cycle platform.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, workflow optimization, and leveraging technology to improve financial performance and operational efficiency within a healthcare environment.
What You'll Do
  • Support, maintain, and configure Epic Resolute Professional Billing and Hospital Billing applications
  • Manage and optimize revenue cycle workflows related to billing, claims processing, charge capture, reimbursement, and payment posting
  • Maintain facility structures, charge master configurations, and revenue cycle-related application settings within Epic
  • Collaborate with Central Billing Office, Finance, Revenue Cycle, and operational teams to identify opportunities for workflow improvement
  • Troubleshoot application issues and provide timely resolution to minimize operational disruptions
  • Support system enhancements, upgrades, and optimization initiatives related to billing and reimbursement processes
  • Maintain and support Epic security access for revenue cycle users and departments
  • Develop, maintain, and execute testing plans and scripts related to revenue cycle workflows and system changes
  • Analyze workflows and recommend solutions that improve efficiency, reimbursement, and user experience
  • Support regulatory compliance, organizational standards, and revenue integrity initiatives
  • Create and maintain documentation, build records, workflows, and support materials
  • Partner with stakeholders to ensure Epic solutions align with organizational financial and operational goals
What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, Business, or a related field
  • Three or more years of experience supporting healthcare technology, Epic applications, or revenue cycle systems
  • Strong understanding of healthcare revenue cycle workflows and billing processes
  • Experience troubleshooting complex application issues and providing effective solutions
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with operational, financial, and technical stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Understanding of healthcare privacy, security, and compliance requirements, including HIPAA
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced healthcare environment
  • Experience supporting system testing, upgrades, and workflow optimization initiatives

Preferred:
  • Epic Resolute Professional Billing certification
  • Epic Resolute Hospital Billing certification
  • Experience supporting revenue cycle operations, claims management, reimbursement, or central billing office workflows
  • Experience with healthcare reporting, data analysis, and performance improvement initiatives
