The International House of Wine and Cheese is a family owned independent retailer of fine wines, spirits, beers and cigars. Because of our continued growth and success, we are adding to our management staff. We offer our customers a large selection of wines, spirits, beers and cigars. We also offer competitive prices and a friendly and knowledgeable staff to assist with selections. If you share our passion for craft beers, wine and spirits and excellence in customer service, we want to speak with you.

Applicants for this position must have a passion for retail and superior customer service.

Job Description

Members of our management teams are responsible for overall store operations including the following:

Hiring, training and coaching of store associates

Enforcement of carding procedures to ensure safe and legal sales of alcohol and tobacco

Time management and task management for staff

Maintaining product and inventory with some ordering responsibility

Meeting and exceeding sales and service goals

Providing great customer service and leadership

Qualifications

The ideal management candidate will have the following qualifications:

5 to 7+ years in a management role with a big box retail operation or beverage retailer

Manage a staff of 10+

Experience with hiring, training, & scheduling

Experience with ordering, inventory and sales

Prefer candidates with an interest in beer, wine, spirits and cigars

Prefer an Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Business or related work experience

Will entertain an entry level management candidate with an appropriate skillset and willingness to learn.

Rotating weekends and holidays required ~ Evening and daytime hours

Pay commensurate with experience
