Job description

Kismet Event Planning & Design is expanding and seeking a high-performing, relationship-driven Senior Sales Representative to lead revenue growth within our luxury event portfolio, with a focus on Corporate, Weddings and large-scale cultural events.
This is not an entry-level role. We are looking for a proven closer who brings an existing network, understands the luxury client experience, and has a track record of generating significant booked revenue.
What You’ll Do
  • Drive new business through strategic outreach, referrals, and industry relationships
  • Own the full sales cycle from lead to close, including consultations, proposals, and negotiations
  • Leverage existing relationships with venues, planners, and coordinators to generate consistent pipeline
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships within the event and wedding industry
  • Collaborate with planning and production teams to ensure a seamless client experience
  • Track all activity, pipeline, and performance within CRM systems
  • Consistently meet and exceed revenue targets

What We’re Looking For
  • Minimum 2 years of sales experience in events, hospitality, or a related client-facing industry
  • Proven track record of $350,000+ in annual booked sales
  • Established relationships with venues, wedding planners, and/or event coordinators
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to confidently close high-value contracts
  • Highly self-motivated with a proactive, ownership mindset
  • Ability to manage multiple high-touch clients and deadlines simultaneously
  • Experience with luxury clientele and high-expectation environments
  • Familiarity with South Asian weddings and cultural events is strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in CRM and sales tools such as HoneyBook, QuickBooks Online, Trello, and Google Suite
