At Herring Bank, we build Relationships for a Lifetime. As a Teller I, youll be the face of the bankhelping customers with everyday transactions while delivering excellent service. This is a part-time, entry-level role of less than 30 hours per week and is a great starting point for those interested in growing within retail banking.
What Youll Do
  • Process deposits, withdrawals, payments, and check cashing accurately.
  • Balance your cash drawer daily.
  • Spot potential fraud or unusual activity.
  • Assist customers with online banking (password resets, navigation, troubleshooting).
  • Greet and serve customers promptly and professionally.
  • Support branch opening/closing and security procedures.
  • Promote bank products and refer customers to the right team members.
  • Follow all compliance, policies, and procedures.

  • 6+ months teller experience or 1+ year in customer service/cash handling.
