The hourly rate for this position is $20.00-$25.00 hour.
The hiring wage rate above represents what Avery Dennison reasonably expects to pay for this position as of the date of this posting. The schedule for this role is 2nd shift, 3:30pm to 11:00pm, Monday through Friday:
The HP Print Machine Operator is responsible for:
Operate HP equipment following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines
Perform machine setup, basic adjustments, and in-process quality checks
Monitor production parameters and document results accurately
Identify abnormalities, alarms, or defects and escalate per defined process
Support preventive maintenance activities and basic troubleshooting
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area (5S)
Participate in required training and successfully complete HP certification
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or technical degree (manufacturing, electromechanics, mechatronics, or related field preferred)
Experience operating industrial machinery or technical equipment
Ability to follow detailed instructions and work in a structured environment
Basic mechanical and/or technical aptitude
Willingness and availability to complete HP certification training
Preferred Backgrounds
Manufacturing machine operator
Junior maintenance or technical support technician
Printing, digital printing, or graphic arts operator
Special process operator (coating, laminating, welding, etc.)
Entry-level technical graduate with hands-on shop-floor experience
Abilities
Operates under moderate to minimal supervision. Resolve most questions and problems through knowledge of established policies and refer only the complex issues to a higher level.
Team work.
Capable of organizing activities and multi-tasking.
Capable of work under pressure.
