Job Summary
Under general supervision, this entry-level technical instructional assistant (IA) position provides instructional support and services to students with mild to moderate disabilities. The IA typically works in a classroom setting, supporting students in general education who are on a 504 or Individualized Education Program (IEP). The role may involve assisting with academic and behavioral support in various subjects and activities, including but not limited to math, English Language Arts (ELA), playground supervision, physical education (P.E.), and music.
