Automotive Service Advisor / Service WriterChrysler Dodge Jeep Ram (CDJR) | Stellantis Dealership Experience Preferred

Compensation: $65,000 – $100,000+ per year
Base Salary + Weekly Commission + Monthly Performance Bonus

Szott Automotive Group is hiring an experienced dealership Automotive Service Advisor to join our high-volume service department.

Dealership Service Advisor experience is required. This is NOT an entry-level position.

We are looking for a professional who can step into a busy service lane, manage repair orders, and maximize service sales while delivering excellent customer service.

Candidates with Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram (CDJR) / Stellantis dealership experience are strongly preferred but no applicant with excellent experience will be overlooked. 


What Our Top Advisors Produce
  • 18–25 repair orders per day

  • Strong customer-pay traffic

  • $700K – $1M+ annual service sales potential

This role is ideal for an advisor who thrives in a fast-paced dealership service environment and wants to maximize their earning potential.


Compensation & Pay Plan
  • $65,000 – $100,000+ annual earning potential ( Top Advisors Earn Over $100,000.00 Per year) 

  • Base salary

  • Weekly commission based on service sales

  • Monthly performance bonuses

Top-performing advisors are rewarded for maintenance recommendations, repair sales, and strong customer retention.


Automotive Service Advisor Responsibilities
  • Greet customers in the service drive and provide a professional dealership experience

  • Write and manage repair orders (ROs)

  • Recommend maintenance services and necessary repairs

  • Provide estimates for parts and labor

  • Communicate with technicians and shop foreman

  • Manage customer-pay, warranty, and internal repair orders

  • Update customers on repair progress

  • Maintain strong CSI scores and customer retention


Required Experience
  • Automotive Service Advisor experience in a dealership REQUIRED

  • Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram (CDJR) / Stellantis experience preferred

  • Strong knowledge of:

    • Service lane operations

    • Maintenance and repair sales

    • Repair order management

    • Customer communication

  • Experience with dealership systems such as:

  • CDK
  • Tekion 
  • Wi-Advisor 
  • Valid driver's license


Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is an advisor who:

  • Has proven dealership service sales experience

  • Can manage a busy service lane

  • Is confident recommending maintenance and repairs

  • Understands Stellantis warranty and service processes

  • Has a track record of strong service sales and CSI
