Job description

About the role

You will talk with homeowners in Florida neighborhoods about switching to residential solar with no upfront cost, and schedule them a free in-home design appointment with our design team. You are setting appointments, not closing contracts, and you never ask a homeowner for money.

This role is in person. You will work assigned neighborhoods in and around florida, mostly on foot, alongside a team lead.

What you will do

• Speak with homeowners door to door in assigned neighborhoods

• Explain how the no-upfront-cost solar program works

• Confirm homeowner status and basic qualifying details

• Schedule qualified homeowners for a 30-minute in-home design appointment

• Follow up with scheduled homeowners by phone and text to confirm appointments

• Log your daily activity and attend a daily team meeting

Compensation

This position is commission-only. You earn $1,000 per appointment that results in a signed solar agreement. In 2025, our first-year representatives earned between $50,000 and $795,000 total. Individual earnings depend heavily on performance, drive, and the volume of qualified appointments set.

What we offer

• Paid training from day one, plus a team lead who works alongside you in the field

• Weekly and monthly performance incentives, including gear and team trips

• Travel opportunities to new markets

• A clear promotion path into team lead and management

• Coffee and drinks provided at the daily team meeting

What we are looking for

• Reliable transportation to and from assigned neighborhoods

• Availability Monday through Friday afternoons and evenings until 8:00 PM, plus Saturday mornings

• Comfortable working outdoors and walking for several hours per day

• Comfortable talking with people you have not met before

• Must be 18 or older

• No sales experience required — we provide full training
