JOB SUMMARY

The Robotics Engineer I is an entry-level role providing on-site engineering support for early-stage Manipulation work cells (Alpha and Beta phases). The individual will perform the daily operation, setup, and maintenance of hardware and software systems while collaborating with remote development teams. Instruct the Technician in the diagnostic assessments and overall troubleshooting of the robotic work cell.


PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Robotics Engineering (100%)

โ€ข Participate in commissioning efforts of new Alpha/Beta work cells. Facilitate the daily operation of Alpha/Beta work cells.

โ€ข Perform testing, identification of issues, root cause analysis, and installation of corrective actions.

โ€ข Perform planned and unplanned hardware maintenance activities.

โ€ข Install hardware changes and provide documentation as directed.

โ€ข Develop and maintain relationships with onsite teams to meet priorities and deadlines effectively.

โ€ข Coordinate with onsite parties to meet priorities and deadlines.

โ€ข Collect and analyze data, create reports, create reports, and provide documentation and updates as directed.


QUALIFICATIONS

Education

โ€ข Bachelorโ€™s Degree in Robotics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. An Associateโ€™s Degree + 3 years of experience in an Engineering related field can be acceptable in lieu of a Bachelorโ€™s Degree. High School Diploma/GED + 7 years of experience in an Engineering related field can be acceptable in lieu of a Bachelorโ€™s Degree.


Experience

โ€ข 1-2 years of experience in robotics, automation, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering or related fields. Hands-on experience with mechanical or electrical systems is a plus.


Skills

โ€ข Bachelorโ€™s Degree in Robotics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. An Associateโ€™s Degree + 3 years of experience in an Engineering related field can be acceptable in lieu of a Bachelorโ€™s Degree.
