Description
As a member of the team, you’ll have the opportunity to work with a team of highly skilled engineers and scientists to bring new experiences to Apple products. This position requires a self-motivated algorithm engineer with strong technical and interpersonal skills to handle responsibilities including:","responsibilities":"Designing and implementing AI/ML systems to solve real-world problems
Evaluating and debugging complex AI systems
Integrating intricate AI systems into a larger software stack
Preferred Qualifications
Strong proficiency with classical robotic algorithms (optimization, graph search, etc.)
Strong applied math background (e.g., graphics, vision, optimization, controls, or planning)
Familiarity with the full robotics stack (controls, perception, motion planning, etc.)
Familiarity with Swift and Apple developer tools
Minimum Qualifications
MS/PhD in Computer Science, Math, Robotics or related field
Strong software engineering background
Ability to break down large features and implement practical solutions
Curiosity about new technologies, flexibility, and openness to ambiguity
Proficiency with modern ML approaches (LLMs, Diffusion Models, etc.) as well as traditional ML methods (Linear Regression, Decision Trees, etc.)
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $150,400 and $277,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You'll also receive benefits including: Comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and for formal education related to advancing your career at Apple, reimbursement for certain educational expenses - including tuition.
