BACA RSJ Robotic SawJet Operator

Full-Time Manufacturing Position | Solon, Ohio

Granex Industries is hiring an experienced BACA RSJ Robotic SawJet Operator for our countertop-fabrication facility in Solon, Ohio. This is a full-time, hands-on production position operating robotic sawjet equipment to cut natural stone, granite, quartz, and porcelain.

Experience required. Applicants must have at least two years of hands-on experience operating a robotic sawjet. Direct BACA RSJ experience is strongly preferred. This is not an entry-level or trainee position.

Primary Responsibilities

Review shop tickets and cut files; program, set up, and operate the BACA RSJ accurately and efficiently.

Use an overhead crane to load slabs; monitor cutting; then unload, inspect, label, and organize countertop pieces.

Complete scheduled preventive maintenance, maintain accurate logs, and monitor parts and supply levels.

Troubleshoot operating and mechanical problems and perform approved repairs, including replacement of wear parts and high-pressure-water components.

Follow all safety procedures; remove scrap and waste; and keep the sawjet area clean and organized.

Assist in other production departments when needed. The primary assignment remains the SawJet Department.

Required Experience and Qualifications

Minimum of two years of hands-on robotic sawjet operating experience required.

Direct experience operating and maintaining a BACA RSJ is strongly preferred.

Proven ability to program jobs, load and unload material, monitor quality, and perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting.

Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read shop tickets, measurements, drawings, digital files, and maintenance procedures.

Dependable attendance, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and with a team.

Must be able to perform heavy physical work, handle stone safely, and work in a wet, loud industrial environment.
