We currently have an opening for an Entry-Level Production Engineer in our Goodyear, AZ facility. Responsibilities include:
  • Prepare manufacturing shop drawings and work order/detail sheets for customer orders through the use of
    AutoCAD base drawings and the Friedman Frontier ERP system.
  • Utilize the Engineering Drawing Database to create production drawings.
  • Verify applications and construct work orders as well as bills of material for order
    fabrication through our ERP system.
  • Update, correct, and/or create drawings based on application.
  • Accurate, neat and timely preparation of design fabrication drawings for customer and manufacturing use.
  • Correct and timely preparation and modification of fabrication work order information.
  • Correct and timely preparation and modification of fabrication bills of material.
  • Interact with Engineering staff and at times with other supporting departments.
    Maintain/ensure that all standards are followed and, upon request, provide supporting documentation for
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • AS Mechanical Engineering Technology, BS Mechanical Engineering or similar.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, release 2016 or later is essential.
  • Some knowledge of Autodesk Inventor, ERP systems, fabrication processes, and a mechanical background preferred.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, etc.)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills required with the ability to meet deadlines.
